PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
 
1972-81 Designed and produced one of a kind fine jewelry, exhibiting throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan.
1983 Formed Lasart Ltd.,a holographic jewelry company currently selling internationally.
1988 Constructed "Aurorean" - a professional DCG holographic lab in Norwood, CO., which then moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1994. Done as a partnership between Lasart and artist Ana MacArthur.
1991 Designed and assisted in the production of a limited edition hologram titled "Medicine Hand", at Holographic Images, Inc., Miami Beach Florida.
1991-92 Consultant on and initial development and production of, a series of reflection dichromate holograms designed by James Turrell, a project organized by The Center for Contemporary Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
1993-94 Consultant on and produced a series of holograms for composer and sound installation artist Paul DeMarinius.
1994 Formed "Solid Air",a holographic art glass company currently producing one of a kind art glass and limited edition holograms.
1994 Lecture and demonstration of dichromate holography for a non-silver photography class, The College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
1997 Constructed models and made a resulting edition of holograms as awards for The Museum of Science and Technology, Chicago, Illinois.
1997-98 Made Large Format Holograms of extremely rare fossilized dinosaur egg, and dinosaur embryo from China (to date the largest egg found, and one of two embryos found). Project collaboration between myself, rare fossil dealer Charlie McGovern, and master silver holographer Fred Unterseher. This project entailed pioneering new techniques in holography.
1997 Lecture at the Sixth International Symposium on Display Holography, Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois; given with Fred Unterseher on pioneering techniques developed with the dinosaur egg project.
 
 
SPECIAL PROJECTS
 
1993 Travel and research in Brazil and it's rainforest to get to know the Brazillian-American environmental organization "Novo Encanto" and the work it is doing towards the preservation of the rainforest.
1994-95 Development of a ! joule pulse laser imaging system with partners Fred Unterseher, Rebecca Deem, and Ana MacArthur, Los Angeles, California.
1997 Development of innovative techniques of laminating handmade Japanese rice paper between large wall-scale pieces of glass, for architectural uses such as doors, screens, and walls.
